EVENING PRIMROSE OIL is valued as a premium source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid possessing anti-inflammatory activity. Each softgel contains 124 mg of biologically active GLA, cold-pressed without hexane or other solvents.

Suggested dose:
The daily dose has not been established in formal clinical trials. Our recommendation is to take one softgel up to three times a day after meals.

I started taking the Evening Primrose Oil per a friend's advice. I have struggled with menstrual cramps and discomfort since I was 11 and continually had to be on birth control to manage these symptoms. However thanks to the Evening Primrose my menstrual symptoms have been manageable if not absent completely even without the birth control. GREAT PRODUCT.
